Get Better – At Life

Jaron-Wellness-Mentors_better-guy-change-smSimply sit back relax and conjure up a vision of what you want to accomplish, be like, feel like… Your Dreams! Hold that in your mind strongly and consistently while making measurable steps toward that vision in your daily life. That’s all the advice you need! Everything else is just commentary. (but if it isn’t that easy for you then read on.)

You want to squeeze more out of life than you currently are. You want to have and to be more. Right?

Imagine you are at the base of a hill (maybe a mountain). You need to climb (improve). Not even sure of the best path to take or the best method to get there. You consult your friends, your intellect, and your intuition. You get a better sense of the problem and then check in with yourself. You answer the big questions like “What should be done?” and “What am I willing to do?” But what is stopping you from getting better? From moving from a problem you face to practicing solutions? Is it distractions? Lack of willpower? Maybe it’s is every little piece of it.

Your cause, your calling, your most powerful personal expression that allows you to get the most out of this life must be your source of power.

First, and most importantly you need religion. I mean the belief and dedicated fervor of a devotee. Your cause, your calling, your most powerful personal expression that allows you to get the most out of this life must be your source of power. Whether you live completely for God or not at all this is a universal wisdom. We each can have a purpose, yet we have to find it and struggle with it, but it will bring us the greatest rewards in life if we do. Your purpose is your fuel.

Where are you headed? What will bring passion AND fulfillment to the series of moments you call life?

Take stock of your life. Make a map of your life and find out what parts need to be explored more.

First, divide life into three parts.

How much time do you spend taking care of your body? What is your level of commitment to a sound mind? How much life do you dedicate to causes beyond yourself and beyond the material world? Which areas of life need to be filled in better, clearer, stronger…?

Success is Progress.

You have to start somewhere. You must firmly add a commitment to your life. Building habits like you build a house. Bit by bit, day by day, with the vision of your dream in mind. Each step taken towards success has a little piece of that success in it.

The problem with taking the little steps toward your success is that they are so easy to do. But, that means they are also so easy Not to do. ~Jim Rohn

Success is felt each time you move down the road toward your dreams. It doesn’t wait until you have accomplished one big thing, it builds with each tiny milestone that you pass as you move towards your target. The mind is a goal-seeking device. When you program your mind to a particular set of circumstances it has a knack for heading there.
